At this point I've been creating jewelry for 8 years. With the continued support of my husband and my best friend. With the encouragement of a new friend, I have added wire sculpting. Sculpting combines my passion for the healing and spiritual aspects of natural stones with the beauty of wire. I'm able to form the wire to follow every beautiful curve and cradle the natural stones in an elegant setting.
With encouragement and not-so-gentle shoves to get my line out there and offer it to friends and family I have begun to make a business. These friends and family have helped promote my jewelry. I am amazed at how far my business has come in a short time by adding wire sculpting about 7 months ago.

Cindy Carter-Jones wrapped this faceted Grade AAA 32.5ct Quartz pendant in sterling silver and 14kt gold-filled wire.
This piece is simple yet elegant. The beauty of the Clear grade AAA Quartz adds so much all by itself that I didn't want to over do the wrap. I wrapped with Sterling Silver and 14k Gold filled wire to help accent the beauty of the stone. My signature seems to be wrapping wire like a ribbon around the stone. This give a very beautiful clean line along with the common heart shape to top off the beauty of this faceted stone.
Clear Quartz is known as the "master healer" and will amplify energy and thought, as well as the effect of other crystals. It absorbs, stores, releases, and regulates energy. My favorite of all the stones I work with.

I've always had an artistic side and CCJ Designs was my first attempt to make it available to others. The sudden death of my father changed my life immensely. I found myself exploring new ways to deepen the connection with my mother. I sought shared interests that we could enjoy and discuss often. While vacationing in Sedona, Arizona, I was touched with the intense energies and spiritual aspects of the region.
I've always believed in the powerful properties of the earth, stones, vortexes their ability to enhance my spiritual connections. While I was there, I found myself guided me to my first bead store. I thought I was there to find a unique gift for my mom, but what I found was so much more than a physical gift for mom. It has become a continuing gift of enhanced family relationships with the added benefit of expanding my creative side.

My mother has been beading ever since I can remember. Mom's talents are in bead weaving. The Christmas after my dad passed I asked my mom for a starter kit to make jewelry. Within a year, a corner of my living room was filled with beads and other supplies for making jewelry. I started creating pieces for myself and making gifts for friends and relatives. My designs began to improve with the experience gained from classes taken at various bead stores and through my mom teaching me her bead weaving techniques.

This started as a hobby. I have always had a creative side and need to create. It is a stress reliever for me, because my day job is high-stress. I enjoy so much being able to come home from a long day and hold a stone in my hand and feel the healing begin as I start to envision how it should be wrapped. I sit with my family watch movies together and wrap on my personally-created lap work station.

I love being able to wear an offer a product which not only looks pretty, but also has added benefits included with the natural stone's beauty.

Cindy used sterling silver chain, pink Swarovski® crystals, and AA clear crystal quartz nuggets to create this light, 18" necklace.
