Beaded Zipper Pull

Skill Level: Beginner

Technique: Making simple loops, adding beads and clasps.

Materials

• 18-gauge round half hard silver plated wire, 1 piece, 3"
• 2 Round turquoise colored beads, 10mm
• 4 silver plated beads, 6mm
• 2 silver plated beads, 4mm
• 1 Lobster claw clasp ,15mm

Tools

• Flat nose pliers
• Round nose pliers
• Chain nose pliers
• Wire cutters
• Ruler

Instructions

1. Straighten, clean, then measure and cut one 3 inch piece of 18 gauge round half hard wire.
   
2. Using round nose pliers, hold wire and make a small loop at one end.
   
   
3. Place a 4mm silver plated bead above this loop and add one 6mm silver plated bead next, followed by one 10mm round turquoise like bead. Add one more 6mm silver plated bead.
   
   
4. Repeat process with one 10mm round turquoise like bead, one 6mm silver plated bead and one final 4mm silver plated bead.
   
   
5. Using the round nose pliers make another small loop at the top end. Leave enough room to attach the 15mm lobster claw clasp onto the loop. Gently squeeze opening closed at the top under the clasp using flat nose pliers.
   
   
6. The finished Zipper Pull.
