Finished Ribbon by Dale "Cougar" Armstrong

Finished Ribbon

A great alternative to a chain is to simply ‘finish’ a ribbon! In this example, an 18-inch length of organza ribbon was looped at each end. A lobster claw clasp with an attached jump ring was threaded onto one loop, and a large jump ring with a one-inch chain segment onto the other end. Using 20g half-round, half-hard wire, the ends were then wrapped onto the main ribbon’s length. A sparkling headpin charm was attached to the end of the chain segment, giving the final touch. What a nice way to present pendants for that special occasion such as a wedding or a prom!
