Here's another earring design I came up with late one night. This design can be changed by adding different combinations of beads, or by suspending the finished triangular component from a piece of chain and then hooking the ear wire in via the last link on the chain. You could even use this pattern to make a matching pendant!
Twist the 1 foot of wire, and then cut it into two 6" pieces. On each wire, measure down 1" and use flat nose pliers to make a 90° bend.

Use that 1" to make an angled, wrapped loop at the end of each wire.

Immediately below each wrapped loop, use flat nose pliers to make a 45° bend. From that bend, measure ¾" and mark. From that mark measure another ¾" and mark again on each wire. Use flat nose pliers at the first mark to make a 45° bend in the same direction as the wrapped loop is.

At the second mark, use flat nose pliers to make another 45° bend, heading toward the top, forming a triangular shape.

Wrap the tail of the triangle twice under the wrapped loop and then through the top of the triangle to the opposite side. Slide on the bead combination and attach the wire to the bottom/center of the triangle. Add ear wires.
