Sometimes Simple Really is Better
While working on ideas for snowflake jewelry for gifting during the holiday season, my most often used templates were pulled out, cut apart, and fit into a 1 x 6 inch rectangle. It was great-four pairs of earrings and a bracelet focal fit in the template blank.

However, I just was not getting excited about the shapes and my ideas for them. They were just not going to provide enough sparkle.
There had to be something I could use other than just crystal beads.
There's nothing wrong with crystal I use them often but this time, I really wanted to add more of silver's reflective quality.
Then I remembered the little teardrop bezel connectors in my stash.
The only decision left was which size ball stud to use: 5mm or 4mm.
I went with the 5mm.
Sometimes simple and easy to make really is better.
These earrings turned out to be the perfect combination of ice and snow!
