Round Mandrels
Jewelry makers use a lot of wire and sheet metal that needs to be rounded or re-rounded after being bent out of shape. There are many different round mandrels, but these four will get a lot of use in your studio and fit the majority of your needs.

What happens when you need a mandrel for something like a small soldered ring? Enter the Acculoop Precision Round Nose Pliers.
The conical jaws allow you to form consistent loops from 2mm to 8mm, with the widest part of the cone measuring just over 9mm.
To re-round a ring without damaging the metal, simply rotate and gently squeeze it on the pliers. Adding a piece of plastic tubing to the opposite jaw helps protect the surface from marring.
This same setup also makes texturing jump rings much easier. Instead of struggling to hold them in place, you can secure the ring on the pliers and texture with more control, using the tubing for added protection.
Another bonus is when forming coils using the size markings. The plastic tubing helps prevent dents, giving you smoother and more professional results than standard pliers.
