How to Snug Up Your Stones in Classic Wire Wrap

Instructions

We all know this struggle. You've already spent hours fiddling with your ring or your pendant and the stone just will not secure. By adding small elements of wrapped wire, like a twisted square wire, a coil or a coiled coil, you can fill the gaps and you get an additional decorative element. If you don't have room for more wire, try using your flat chain nose pliers to create a zig-zag bend in your support wires; stack these bends if you have multiple support wires, side-by-side.
