How to Make Sharp Bends in Wire
Many times in wire wrapping and wire weaving, you want to have nice, sharp bends, especially when setting more angled stones. Here's how I bend my wires to get those crisp angles and where I bend my wires to make the most of the wire I have.

Where to Bend on Your Marked Wire
To have your mark remain in the center of the bent wire, you actually need to place your pliers just right of the mark and then use your left hand and pliers in tandem to bend the wire.
Hold the wire with your pliers and then gently apply pressure with your left hand to bend the wire.

How to Make Sharp Bends in Your Wire
Now, this will give you a soft bend in your wire, if you're wanting a sharper angle, you can do one of two things.
First, you can over bend the wire and then return it to the desired position. This will sharpen the angle.
To get the angle even sharper, bend the wire completely, compress the wire with your pliers gently and then with a set of round nose pliers, carefully separate the wires to make enough room for your flat nose pliers. From there, bend the wire back, (carefully).
And now you have a nice, crisp angle that you can use for your project!
