Seriously, don’t toss that jump ring or that scrap piece of wire you think you may never use! I learned a long time ago to keep pieces of scrap wire and odd size jump rings that I had made or repurposed. Along with those pieces of wire and jump rings, keep those things you made for a project that, after you made them, they just didn’t fit right, whether design-wise or aesthetically. You never know when those will come in handy.
If you don’t already have one and do this, get one of those organizer boxes with the compartments and fill them up with jump rings, pieces of wire, paddle and balled end wires, you name it. I have a box of said goodies, and they came in handy while I was embellishing a necklace. Honestly, I keep just about everything (my space shows it...), sometimes I think I should do a major clean out, but then my {in}sanity kicks in and I shake my head and wonder where that thought came from. Look at just ONE of the boxes I have with stuff stuffed into it, yes, there are some stones in there, but hey, you never know...
