Woven 6-bead Wire Bracelet

Cut three 12" pieces of 16g wire for the base wires. Find the middle of the weaving wire (24g) and bend in half, do not crease the wire. Wrap it around a base wire once crossing the ends in the back (the side away from you).

Add a second base wire to the left beside the first and wrap the weaving wire on the left side around both base wires twice. Make sure the weaving wire is in the back going to the left side.

Add the last base wire to the right side of the first base wire. Use the weaving wire on the right side to wrap around the newly added base wire and the first base wire twice. Make sure the weaving wire is in the back and going to the right side.

Take the left weaving wire and wrap around the left base wire and the middle (the first base wire used) base wire twice. Make sure your weaving wire ends up in the back going to the left side. Next wrap the right weaving wire around the right base wire and the middle base wire twice. Mmake sure the weaving wire ends up on the back of the weave going right. Repeat this weave till it can be wrapped 2/3 the way around the wrist. For me that's 5 inches.

Adjust the base wires till the same amount is sticking out both sides on your weave. End your weaving wire by wrapping three times around the closest outside base wire. Use your pliers to pinch the weaving wire against the base wire and smooth the ends of the weaving wires.

Bend the bracelet around the back side of your wrist or a bracelet mandrel. Cut the base wires off 2 ½ inches from the end of the weave on both sides of the weave. Use the round nose pliers to grasp the end of the base wire just down from the cut edge and bend the wire leaving a straight end at the tip of the wire.

Continue spiraling the wire till the short straight end is pointing at the base wire again.

Slip a bead onto the end of the wire. Curl the wire around in a spiral tight enough so the bead does not have room to slip off.
