mm.
You can use larger stones as well, in this
case please cut longer base wire.
This stone is a 25mm big Labradorite.

Step 1
For the base wire you can use:1mm (18ga) or 0.8mm (20ga) wire. Cut a 30 cm (12 inches) long base wire. Position the center of the base wire below the stone, as shown with the arrow.

Step 2
Bend both ends of the base wire around the stone, as shown on this picture. Make sure that the 2 ends of the base wire cross over each other at 1cm above the top of the stone.

At the point where these 2 wire ends cross over each other, hold one wire tight within the flat nose pliers, then bend it completely upwards as shown on the next picture.

For the weaving wire you can use: -0.4mm (26ga) or 0.3mm (28ga) wire. Cut a 30 cm (12 inches) long weaving wire. Position the initial end of the weaving wire behind both base wires, at the point where we recently bent them.

Step 7
Wrap the weaving wire 3 times around both base wires, as tight as you can.

Step 8
Continue to wrap the weaving wire around the base wires, until you arrive at the end of the weaving wire. Make sure that the wrapped part is extremely tight, otherwise compress the weave, pushing it downwards with your fingers.

Behind the base wires, cut off the extra end of the weaving wire, then pressure it with the flat nose pliers, until it is completely closed.

Flatten the woven part with the flat nose pliers.

Hold the center of the woven part tight within the round nose pliers, close to the center of the pliers, as shown on this picture.

Step 12
Bend the upper wire ends completely backwards, then downwards. This bent woven base wires will make the bail of the pendant.

Switch to right side view of the pendant. At the point where the woven part ends, hold both wire ends tight within the flat nose pliers, then bend them slightly backwards, as shown on the next picture.

Cut a 15 cm (6 inches) long weaving wire. Close to the point where we bent the wire end, wrap the weaving wire 3 times around the wire structure.

Cut another weaving wire with the same length, and repeat the same bending and weaving steps on the left side as well.

Make sure that the 2 wire ends cross over each other at 0.5 cm above the bottom of the wire structure.

At the point where these 2 wire ends cross over each other, hold them one by one with the flat nose pliers, then bend them completely downwards.

Cut a 10cm (4 inches) long weaving wire. Wrap it 5 times around these 2 wire ends.

Cut off the extra end of this weaving wire.

Take both base wire ends, bend them completely upwards, bending them tightly over the stone.

Now bend the wires to the sides, making a slightly curved part with them over the stone, and positioning them above the woven parts on the sides.

On the right side, with the help of the round nose pliers, bend the wire end inwards, making a loop with them close to the woven part.

Wrap the weaving wire 3 times around the recently bent wire and the wire structure, to connect them.

Now wrap the weaving wire 3 times around the wire structure and cut off the extra weaving wire end.
