I made this necklace on the short side to wear as a choker. You could add a few jump rings to each end before you attach the clasp to make the length variable. I also used a fancy shaped crystal but any gemstone, pearl or glass bead will work well. This would make a great bracelet too.

Instructions
Step 1
Create the crystal links: Cut 8 pieces of 6" black wire and create spiral bead cage crystals. See link for instructions:

Step 2
Create the pearl links: Cut 7 pieces of 6" red wire and create wrapped loops on each side. Make one wrapped loop and slide on a decorative spacer, pearl and spacer onto the wire. Create another wrapped loop. See link for instructions on making a wrapped loop:

Step 3
I attached the links using two twisted wire jump rings. I like the texture of two rings together also they are made from a very thin gauge so I wanted double protection.

You can make your own twisted jump rings by first twisting 2 wires together:

Step 4
Attach all the bead links using two jump rings in the pattern shown.

Step 5
Add a jump ring to each end of the necklace, adding a lobster clasp at one end.
