Instructions
Step 1
To make the clasp, and the stretch knot, open the jump rings for the clasp and a few jump rings to attach to the elastic.

Overlap the elastic bands with the right one on top of the left one.
Pro Tip: To make this adjustable, I used 2 fabric covered elastic hair bands. You may need only one, or knot together as many as needed.
This measurement fit around a 22 inch thigh.

Step 2

Making Knot Structure

Take one end of the right elastic and pass it under and toward the left elastic. Then bring the left elastic end up and over the right side to form a knot structure.

Pull away from each end to form the knot.

Step 4

Attach Jump Rings and Chain

Use the flat nose pliers to close the jump rings around the elastic and the clasp.

On the other end, add one or two jump rings to the end of the elastic and to attach one end of chain.

Step 5

Making the Bead Baubles

Thread each bauble with one headpin.

Use the flat nose pliers to form a 90 degree angle at the base of the bead.

Use the round nose pliers to make a loop, with the wire completely around the base.

Wrap the end of the bead wire around the stem of the bead a few times.

Cut off any remaining wire.

Repeat for all 10 beads.

Step 6
Cut 3 pieces of chain:
- 30 inches in length
- 11 inches in length
- 8 inches in length

On the 30 inch chain, measure and mark at 1 1/2 inches from the end of this chain.

Place another at:
- 8 inches
- 12 inches
- 15 inches
- 18 inches
- 22 inches

On the 11 inch chain, place an open jump ring at one end of the chain. Mark a place at 2 inches from this end.

I used jump rings to mark the rest, simply because the beads were going on to the chain directly.

On the 8 inch chain, measure a 3 inch marker from one end of the chain.
Pro Tip: I used scraps of 24 ga. wire to mark each point where the chain will be joined by another link. Jump rings use where bead was going to attach.

Step 7

Connecting the pieces together

30 inch chain to form a loose circle assuming the thigh in the middle of it.

The 16 inch space marker will fold back and catch one jump ring to hold the clasp and elastic.

Drape the chain together at the 12 and 18 inch marker.

Continue to drape the chain across so the 22 inch and 8 inch markers meet.

For the second drop, drape the chain back towards the center, where the 1 1/2 inch marker will meet the 12 and 18 inch markers.

Place open jump rings on the 8 inch chain ends to attach to the 16 inch marker fold, then back to the center with the 3 inch marker meeting the rest.

Place a jump ring on both ends of the 11 inch chain. Connect one end to the center chain drape.

Attach all the marker points with jump rings.

Attach all the beads to the jump rings at connection points, throughout the chain as you like, and at the ends of each of the chains.

Step 9
Open the final jump rings at each end of the chain to attach the elastic bands for stretch.
