Step 1
Find the center of your wire by bringing both ends together.

Slide two beads onto the wire and let them fall to the center.

Make sure you have two even wire tails to work with.

Step 2
Bring one end of the wire back through one bead's drill hole, moving in the opposite direction so the wires cross inside the bead.

Gently pull both wire ends away from each other to stack one bead neatly on top of the other.

Step 3
Add another bead to one side of the wire.

Then, bring the opposite wire end back through the same bead's drill hole.

Pull both wire ends gently to draw the third bead into place so it sits neatly on top of the others.

Repeat this process until you've added a total of nine beads.

Each time, make sure the wires cross through the bead in the opposite direction.

Step 5
When you pull the wires away from each other, the beads should slide down and rest neatly on top of the others.

Add three beads to one of the wire tails.

Then, pass the other wire end through all three beads in the opposite direction.

Gently pull both wires away from each other so the beads sit on top of the nine single beads that are already stacked.

Next, add six beads to one of the wire tails.

Pass the other wire end through all six beads in the opposite direction.

Pull both wires gently away from each other so the beads sit neatly on top of the first row of three.

Gently shape the beads into position.

The rows of nine single beads will form the cat's tail.

Next, add seven beads to one side of the wire.

Bring the other wire end through all seven beads in the opposite direction.

Gently pull both wires to guide the beads into position.

Begin forming the cat's head by adding five beads to one of the wire ends.

Bring the other wire back through all five beads in the opposite direction.

Gently pull both wires to shape the row into place.

Add another row of five beads to one side of the wire.

Bring the other wire through the drill holes of all five beads in the opposite direction.

Pull both wires out gently in opposite directions to complete the top of the cat's head.
