Once you have 7 lengths of wire on either side of the bead, coil the frame on the right 3 times to secure and trim the tail, tuck the end in with the long nose pliers. Measure Half way along the straight coiled wire, hold with the round nose pliers and bend the wire round to form the bail. Pinch the bail together and bind 4 - 6 times with the 5" of thin wire. Coil 3 times to secure and trim.
Pro Tip: Designer Tips:
Tip 1: If your frame wire becomes slightly misshapen, gently squeeze it between the nylon jaw pliers to achieve the desired shape, working the pliers along the wire.
Tip 2: If it becomes difficult to pass the thin wire between the frame and bead, push a pin through at the point where you would like the wire to pass, notice how it makes a gap in the coils.
Tip 3: Check the thin wires that cross the bead are straight and adjust with your finger nail if required.
