Bring a little casual color to chain maille using bright rubber rings. This bracelet has a nice, easy rhythm to create in an afternoon. The number of jump rings in this project create a 7.5" bracelet. You can decrease or increase the numbers to fit.

Instructions
Step 1
Open all of the 6mm aluminum jump rings. Arrange a pattern of red, yellow, and orange jump rings. One black jump ring for the center, and all black jump rings on one side.
Pro Tip: When working with aluminum jump rings, keep in mind they are soft metal and mar easily. That's why it's best to use nylon jaw pliers for this project.

Step 2
Pass two 6mm jump rings through the 8 mm jump ring, and 2 rub-ber jump rings. Close the rings to form one end of the bracelet.

Step 3
Pass two 6mm rings through both sets of rubber jump rings. Be careful to place all the black rings on the same side.

Step 4
Continue to pass each of the two 6mm rings through the previous link, then add the next 2 rubber rings. Close the rings.

Step 5
Continue this pattern until the bracelet is your desired length. End with the last pair of aluminum rings. Pass one open jump ring through the double rings, and the clasp. Close the ring.
