This fun project is a breeze to make once you master the technique and get in the zone. You could crank them out in many different color combos for all your pals! I chose 2 different wire colors to really highlight the contrast between them and add more color depth to the piece. It's a great effect to use and easily bump your design up another level. I used 18 gauge wire for the base wire links but this project would work well with 20 gauge wire too.

Instructions
Step 1
Cut 6 lengths of 18 gauge wire 4" and straighten the pieces. This will be your base wire. Bend at 1 ¼ inches.

Step 2
Using the Wubbers pliers smallest jaw, place at bend and wrap wire over the top of the jaw and around it creating a loop.

Step 3
Grip the loop with the chain nose pliers and wrap the short wire around the long wire 2 times. Do this with all 6 pieces.

Step 4
Working from the spool, wrap the 28 gauge wire around the base wire starting in the middle of the long wire.

Step 5
Squeeze the coil together towards the loop so the wire is wrapped tightly around the base wire. Keep wrapping and squeezing until the coil is ½ inch long.

Step 6
Cut the beginning and end tail close to the wire and using the chain nose pliers squeeze and rotate around so it's tightly wrapped with no pokey ends.

Step 7
Push coil down to end of wire and wrap the 18 gauge wire around once over coil end and trim excess wire. Squeeze down the pokey end.

Step 8
Bend the wire at end of coil.

Step 9
Using the Wubbers smallest jaw, place at bend and wrap wire over the top and around the jaw creating a loop as you previously did in Steps 2 and 3.

Step 10
Wrap wire around base 3 times, cut excess wire and using chain nose pliers squeeze and rotate around so it's tightly wrapped with no pokey end. Make 5 more so you have 6 links total.

Step 11
Cut four 3" pieces of 20 gauge wire. Make bend at 1.5". Follow steps 2-3 and slide crystal onto wire before making your second wrapped loop. Make four crystal loops total.

Step 12
Attach 2 wrapped links and 1 crystal link using a jump ring, close the loop.

Step 13
Repeat until all links are attached and add a lobster clasp using a jump ring on one bracelet end. Attach a jump ring to the other end and you'll end up with a 7.5" bracelet.
