Instructions
Step 1
I used a variety of 4 vintage beads for this project.

You may choose any size bead and/or pendant to create this purse charm.

This is project for that one extra bead in your box, and/or the ones you bought and just did not know what to do with !
Step 2
Begin by threading one eye pin through each of the two beads. This creates the base components you will attach later.

Next, thread one head pin through the bead dangle. The head pin allows the dangle to connect securely to a larger bead.

Step 3
Use the flat nose pliers to form a 90 degree angle at the top base of each bead.

Step 4
Use round nose pliers to form a loop at the top of the two larger beads.

Wrap the remaining wire around the wire stem two times, then trim the excess with wire cutters.

Make a loop on the small bead but do not close it.

It will be threaded through the bottom of an eye pin on one of the larger beads.

Step 5
Thread the loop on the small bead through the bottom of one bead, through the eye pin.

Step 6
Use the flat nose pliers to wrap the wire around the small bead.

Cut off remaining wire using the wire cutters.

Step 7
Cut a 3 inch length of copper wire.

Use the round nosed pliers to form a curl at the base of the long bead.

( This will form our handmade pin.)

Step 8
Use the flat nose pliers to carefully pull the wire into the center of the curl.

Make a 90 degree angle on the base of the wire to thread the wire through the bead.

Step 9
Pull the wire firmly up and through the bead, centering the curl in the middle of the bead base.

Step 10
Form a wrapped loop at the top of the bead, following steps 1-3.

Step 11
Open all the jump rings using the pliers.

Set each jump ring to make a chain so that they hang with some longer, and some shorter lengths.

Step 12
When your pattern is set, close each jump ring one at time to each other forming a chain.

Leave one ring open to attach the end of each chain to each bead.

Attach each charm chain to one purse carabiner.

Step 13
Open, then close your carabiner purse charm onto your purse.

Make sure the length and bulk of the design is pleasing.

Add or adjust each charm as needed.
