Instructions
Step 1
Create crystal hoops by stringing a crystal, and a seed bead 13 times onto the beading wire. Add a crimp and pass one of the wires back through the crimp so the hoop is closed. Pass the other wire back through the crimp and pull the hoop tight so there's no slack in the wire.
The crimping pliers have 2 notches. The first is closest to your hand holding the pliers. Place the crimp into that notch and close gently and tightly. You have created a little taco shaped crimp. The second notch closest to the tip of the pliers folds the taco in half. So place the taco sideways into that notch and squeeze gently and tightly so the sides fold together. Trim the excess wire with cutters. Create 27 of these hoops in various sizes, lengths and colors.

Step 2
Using a texture hammer and anvil, hammer both sides of each washer until you are pleased with the texture. Do this for 10 washers of different sizes. Use different textures on each washer or the same. This is a great time to experiment with different texture techniques and hammers.

Step 3
Patina the washers using liver of sulfur and then polish the high points on both sides. Or use my cheater patina method:

Step 4
Slide three crystal hoops onto the chain and then add a washer. Repeat until you have used up all your washers and crystal hoops.

Step 5
Use a jump ring to attach a lobster clasp onto one of the end links and close. Attach a jump ring to the other end.
