Instructions
Step 1
Flush cut 4" of 16g wire and using the smaller tine of the medium Wubbers, create a loop on one end of the wire. Then create a similar loop at the other end turning it in the opposite direction.

Step 2
Hammer both end loops, but do not hammer the straight part of the wire since you want this to remain flexible.

Step 3
Position the larger tine of the large Wubbers next to one loop, but not touching it as shown in the photo. Bend the straight part of the wire around this tine ending as the wire crosses behind the loop. This may seem as though you are turning the wrong way. Repeat for the other end.

Step 4
The link will likely look askew at this point; therefore, use your fingers to position the crisscrossed wires side by side.

Step 5
Gently hammer the link taking care not to hammer where the wires cross as that can weaken the wire.

Step 6
Create your own jump rings with the 18g wire using the circumference of the larger tine on the medium Wubbers. You will need one ring for each link and two to connect a link to another. For my six-length bracelet, I needed 6 + 2 x 5 or 16 jump rings.

Step 7
Put the jump ring through both loops in your link to prevent the link from opening.

Step 8
Follow steps 1-7 to create the number of links required for the wrist size, recognizing that the clasp will add 3/4 to 1" in length. Connect the links with two jump rings between each link pair.

Step 9
Create the hook end of a clasp starting with a 2 ½" length of 16g wire. Make a small loop at one end with the smaller tine of the medium Wubbers.

Step 10
Place the larger tine of the same Wubbers 5/8" above the bottom of this loop and turn the wire back upon itself.

Step 11
Finally, use the smaller tine again to create a loop facing away from the wire at the other end. You only need to create this hook end of the clasp since it will connect to one of the links.

Step 12
Hammer the clasp.

Step 13
Connect the clasp to an end link ( I do not use jump rings here, but you can if you need slightly more length) and try on the bracelet. If it is too large, just hook it into another link. The extra link becomes a dangle.

Step 14
You can create a different version of this bracelet by substituting beaded links in some places.
