Starting with silver wire, a few pearls and crystals-viola. I hammered a piece of 16-gauge wire to make the base and wrapped the beads with 24-gauge wire around the base. I added a bit of boho in the tassel and finished up with a fun chain. This project is a great way to use those orphaned beads or precious gemstones you simply can't part with!

Instructions
Step 1
Using the padded work mat as your work surface, cut a 4" piece of 16-gauge wire, straighten and bend in half.

Step 2
Hammer the wire frame starting at the bottom of the "V" and move your way up.

Step 3
Roll one wire end around the smaller jaw on the Wubbers pliers to form a loop. Repeat for the other side.

Step 4
Cut a 6" piece of the 24 gauge wire. Holding the tail securely against the wire frame, wrap the wire tightly around one side of the frame 3 times. Using your flat-nose pliers, scooch the wire wraps together making them very close together and snug up against each other.

Step 5
String your first bead onto the wire. It's good to select one bead that closely fits in the "V" and be sure to leave enough space for a jump ring to go under the bead for adding the tassel.

Step 6
Wrap the other end of the wire tightly, scooch wires and trim the excess wire on both sides.
Cut four more 7" pieces of 24-gauge wire and repeat steps #4-#6 with different beads. Continue with 4 more wires.

Step 7
Attach the tassel using a large jump ring and closing over the "V".

Step 8
Attach chain to both wire frame ends with large jump rings.
