As a maker, just like you, creating and sharing my hand crafted jewelry brings great pleasure especially during the holiday season. I make jewelry all year long with the intention of selling or gifting specific pieces. And, although I'm pretty good at capturing all my pals and loved one's on "the list" I'm always caught with a surprise gift or two from someone I didn't expect - and I have nothing for them! Not only is it awkward, but the scrambling for another present and feeling badly messes with my holiday-zen vibe. So, I came up with a perfect solution and have continued this for years. I make a few simple, easy to please pieces of jewelry for those surprise guests! These earrings fit the bill and are quite fun to make using your bead stash or buying a few beady colors.

Instructions
Step 1
Make 6 dangles total (3/earring). Large dangle (make 2) - String a metal bead cap, red crystal, metal bead cap onto a headpin and make a simple loop at the top.

Small dangle (make 4) - String a red crystal onto a headpin and make a simple loop at the top.

Step 2
Cut 2 pieces of memory wire slightly overlapping the ends by ¼".
NOTE: Use ONLY memory wire cutters. The wire will ruin any other cutter (trust me on this)!

Step 3
Using your round-nose pliers, make a simple loop at one wire end and string your beads onto the wire in a pleasing design.

Step 4
Make a simple loop at the other wire end.

Step 5
Open the ear wire loop and insert both wire loops. Close the ear wire loop.

Step 6
Open the jump ring and insert the small dangle, large dangle, small dangle, then thread the jump ring through the ear wire loop. Repeat steps 3-6 for the second earring.
