Instructions
Step 1
Before you begin this project, notice I've chosen two different size chains, one with longer and one with shorter links. Measure before you cut to make sure you have the larger links on the outside edge, and the smaller on the inside. The outside chain links will be slightly longer. Cut the smaller link chain into two 8.5" pieces. Cut the larger link chain into two 8.75" pieces.

Step 2
Use round nose pliers to make a wire wrapped loop at one end of the head pin.Trim the excess wire as flush as possible,
using the wire cutters.

Step 3
Thread the iolite bead onto the head pin and make a wire wrapped loop at the other end as close to the bead as possible. Trim the excess wire.

Step 4
Open one 4 mm jump ring with the chain nose pliers. Attach one end of the smaller link chain and the end of the larger link chain. Attach the jump ring to one end of the wire wrapped loops on the iolite bead. Be careful to have the larger chain on the outer edge. Close the jump ring. Repeat this step to attach the remaining two chains to the other side of the wire wrapped loop in the bead.

Step 5
Open one 6mm jump ring. Attach the end of the smaller chain, the larger chain, and the loop on to the toggle clasp. Close the jump ring. Repeat this step attaching the remaining 6mm jump ring with the larger and smaller chains to the loop on the other side of the toggle clasp. This completes the necklace.
