Fire and Ice Crocheted Necklace

I spent my career in education, teaching and administration but I love jewellery. I especially love jewellery that is unique. I had a hard time finding unique pieces so I started making my own. Friends, colleagues and strangers in restaurants asked if they could buy my pieces right off me, or if I would make them something similar. It happened so many times, that Steve, my husband, suggested I start selling my handcrafted jewellery. The rest is history. Fast forward 25 years, and here we are. Retired from education and full time in my passion! Steve and I work together in Pret-A-Porter Jewels. I work on the design and crafting of most pieces. Steve does all the business aspect, photography and when inspired, creates some of our beautiful collection. I love helping our customers find the right piece to express their personal vibe. It is fun to see customers light up when they wear a piece of our jewellery. In the beginning, we kept hearing from our customers how many compliments they received when they wore their purchases so we decided to use this as our tag line, Jewellery that invites compliments!
