Step 1
Wrap a 4-inch section of copper wire twice around one end of your leather cord, leaving a small tail of wire at the bottom.

Use round nose pliers to turn a small loop in the wire tail.

Step 3
Wrap the open end of the wire one more time around the leather cord.

Use your round nose pliers to form a loop at the top.

Trim the wire, leaving a small bit of excess.

Step 4
Use flush cutters to cut any exposed leather flush to the top of your coil.

Step 5
Cut off the wire tail with your flush cutters.

Use your chain nose pliers to straighten and adjust the loops.

Repeat steps 1-5 for the other end of the bracelet.

Step 6
Create four flat coils using four 2-inch segments of 20-gauge copper wire.

Start by forming a small loop at one end of each wire with your round nose pliers.

Step 7
Grip the wire with your chain nose pliers.

(Nylon jaw pliers also work well for this step.)

Coil the wire around the loop, following the natural curve of the wire.

Press gently with your pointer finger as you roll to keep the coil tight and even.

Continue coiling until you have approximately 1/4" of wire left.

Step 9
Use your round nose pliers to form a loop at the end of the wire, as shown in the photo.

Make all four coils, repeating steps 6-9 for each one.

Step 10
To make your loop-bottom head pins, use your round nose pliers to turn a small loop at the end of a 2-inch wire segment.

If needed, use your chain nose pliers to adjust the loop so it's centered.

Add two different 3mm beads to each wire.

Hold the wire just above the top bead with your round nose pliers.

Bend the wire at a 90-degree angle.

Pull the wire over the jaw of your round nose pliers to form a loop.

Wrap wire tail down under loop flush to top of beads.

Cut off excess wire using your flush cutters.

Use your chain nose pliers to tuck the wire tail securely above the top bead.

Be gentle, especially with crystal beads they can break easily.

Repeat steps 10-11 to create five looped bottom beaded dangles.

If you're confident with hammering, you can lightly flatten the loops using the flat end of your chasing hammer on a bench block, but this step is optional.

Step 17
To create your flat-bottom beaded dangles, use the flat or round end of your chasing hammer to flatten one end of a 2-inch wire segment.

Make sure the flattened end is wide enough to keep the beads from slipping off.

Step 18
Use a metal file to smooth the edges of your wire so it isn't too sharp.

Thread two different beads onto your wire, then form a loop and coil it just as you did for the looped bottom dangles.

Make five of these flat-bottom dangles, giving you a total of ten beaded dangles.

Create a hook clasp using a 3-inch segment of 20-gauge copper wire.

Begin by forming a medium-sized loop at one end of the wire.

Use the flat end of your chasing hammer to gently flatten the hook on your bench block.

Don't overdo it just a light tap to shape and strengthen the wire.

Attach the beaded dangles and coils to the bracelet using jump rings in this pattern:
