Doodle Earrings

I used 18-gauge round wire, and eighteen 4mm round beads for this project.

Test the diameter of the holes on the beads to make sure the design will work - that the wire will fit through the beads.

Cut 2 pieces of 10 inch wire.

Make a simple wrapped loop at one end of the wire.

Thread one bead onto the wire.

I used my hands to bend the wire up at an angle, then threaded another bead onto the wire.

Use the largest part of the round-nose pliers, and your hands to bend the wire parallel to the wire above it.

Then bend the wire back in the opposite direction.

Use the tip of the round-nose pliers to make a loop in the wire, bend the wire downward, and add another bead.

Continue to make small curves in the wire, adding beads as you go.

Make a figure eight twist in the wire by bending the wire using the tips of the round-nose pliers.

Loop the wire around the pliers bending the wire in back of the loop.

Hold the pliers again, bending the loop in the opposite direction.

Add a bead, make a bend in the wire. Continue adding the rest of the beads and bending the wire with your hands.

Hold the piece with the nylon-jaw pliers for stability.

Complete the doodle by adding the last bead and pointing the wire down to curl up the end using the tips of the round-nose pliers.

Open the loop on one ear wire and attach the top wire wrapped loop of the doodle.

Close the earring loop.

Repeat the process to make the second earring.

It may not match exactly to the first one, but that's a doodle!
