This project was inspired by a beautiful sculpture called Count On Me made by Ryan McCallister. I used his color pallet for this project. This beaded chain is a perfect project for using expensive semi-precious beads or crystals because it only uses a few of them. And they're spaced out with bits of chain to give an added texture pop!

Step 1
Ryan McCallister's created this masterpiece called Count On Me and it blew me away so I decided to use it as a Color Inspiration for this necklace.

Step 2
Create 4 crystal wrapped dangles by cutting a 2" piece of 24 gauge wire and creating a wrapped loop on both ends.

Step 3
Connect an Apple Jasper Rondelle dangle to a crystal dangle using a commercial jump ring or make your own. Learn to make your own jump rings here: https://www.wirejewelry.com/jewelry_making_videos/Making-Jump-Rings_17.html.

Step 4
Cut 2" of chain and connect to the dangle using a jump ring.

Step 5
Cut 2" of chain and connect to the other end of the dangle using a jump ring. This is the left half of the necklace. Repeat Steps 3, 4 and 5 to add more length. Repeat these steps for the right half of the necklace.

Step 6
Connect the focal piece to both necklace sides using a jump ring.

Step 7
Attach a lobster clasp to one end of the necklace and a jump ring to the other end.
