Step 1
Cut 7 pieces of chain approximately 1 inch each in length.

Step 2
Take a length of 29 AWG wire approximately 12 inches in length and slide on one of the chain sections from the last link of the chain onto the centre of the wire.

Step 3
Add one bead onto one side of the wire and bring the other tail end of the wire back through the drill hole in the bead so that it is travelling in the opposite direction.

Gently pull on each end of the wires to draw the bead down so that it is positioned above the chain section.

Add a chain section onto each wire tail end to sit either side of the first bead.

Add two beads onto one side of the wire and bring the other wire end back through both of these beads to form a loop.

Add four beads onto one side of the wire and bring the other side of the wire back through the drill hole in these four beads, pulling the wire so that this forms the fourth row of beads positioned above.

Place three beads on one side of the wire, travel the other side of the wire back through these three beads.

This will form the fourth row of beads that will graduate back down in size.

Next, add two beads onto the wire and complete the same technique by bringing the other side of the wire back through the beads in the opposite direction and pull the wire ends to tighten the beads into position.

To complete the diamond shape, add just one bead onto one side of the wire and bring the other tail end of wire through this last bead.

Gently pull on each wire end to position the last bead on top so that it sits central above the beads below.

Pinch the wires together at the top of the last bead.

Twist the wire together, to form a twisted length of approximately one and a quarter inches in length.

Use round nose pliers to start forming a wrapped loop with the twisted section of wire.

To do this bend the wire across the top of the round nose pliers.

Reposition the pliers so that the jaws of the pliers sit above and below the wire and bring the twisted wire section around the top jaw of the plier to form a loop.

Wrap the twisted wire around as one, to fill the space between the loop and the top bead.
