This chain maille bail is based on the traditional 4 in 1 weave that was used in armor in Medieval times. Its lacy texture allows the colours of the donut to show through while adding a neat connection to the rubber cord. The donut I have used is mahogany obsidian, it has beautiful brown and gray colors and the high polish really makes them stand out.
