Summer brings time to relax and enjoy the long days. July is a festive stars and stripes, red, white, and blue time of the year. These coral beads, with glass stars, roundels, and sweet mother-of-pearl fan shaped drops are the perfect accessory.

Instructions

Step 1

We will begin by making the wrapped loop bail.

Use the nylon jaw pliers to straighten the wire, as needed.

Measure and cut 2 pieces of 3 inch wire to construct the bead bail.

Center the bead on a piece of wire.

Step 2

Bend both ends of wire up along the sides of the bead.

Step 3

Bend one end straight up the center of the bead.

Bend the other end horizontally.

Step 4

Coil the horizontal wire around the straight wire once or twice.

Step 5

Make sure your coil is wrapped at the base of the stem.

Step 6

Form a wrapped loop with the straight wire.

Start by bending the wire at a 90 degree angle at the stem.

Step 7

Use the round nose pliers to form a loop around the stem.

Step 8

Coil the loop around the stem, and cut off any remaining wire.

Step 9

Use the flat nose pliers to gently squeeze the ends of the wire close to the stem to lay flat.

Step 10

Assemble your design using the ear wire, an eye pin, beads, jump ring, and wire wrapped bail bead.

Step 11

Open the jump ring and attach the eye pin through the jump ring, then onto the wrapped bail loop.

Close the ring.

Step 12

Thread the beads onto the eye pin.

Begin to make a simple loop at the top of the eye pin to attach to the ear wire.

Bend the wire at a 90 degree angle at the top of the bead stack.

Step 13

Use the round nose pliers to form a simple loop.

Cut off any remaining wire.

Step 14

Open the loop on the ear wire using the flat nose pliers.

Attach the top loop of the earring stack to the ear wire.

Repeat to create the second earring, and swing along through the summer !!
