How to Tie a Tiffany Bow

Receiving a beautifully wrapped gift is a delightful experience. The presentation sets the tone and enhances the anticipation of what's inside. There are many ways to make your packaging memorable, the Tiffany bow is easy to do and secures a box closed if it needs to be posted.
Lay the ribbon over the box, leaving a tail at the front.

The tail needs to be long enough to tie a bow, this measurement will vary depending on the width of the ribbon and the size you want the bow to be.

Take the long end of the ribbon (this is the working end of the ribbon) under the box and back around to the front.

Hold this spot in place with your thumb, and then take the working end over to the left side, under the box, and back around to the front and hold it in place.

Take the working end of the ribbon under the left arm of the crossed ribbon and then under the top arm of the cross and pull through.

Check that the ribbon hasn't twisted on the underside.

Pull both ends of the ribbon fairly tight and adjust so the ribbon looks centered on the box.

To tie the bow, make a loop in the ribbon end tail that was originally left at the front of the box and hold the loop in your fingers.

Take the other end of the ribbon and bring it down and around the front of the loop.

Push this ribbon behind the loop through the hole where your back finger is.

Pull both loops tight and keep adjusting until you like how the bow sits.
