So, step one is to open your account by going to: www.wordpress.com and creating your blog. Select a name that represents your business.

Be sure to validate your account and then put your username and password in a safe place so you can access your account.
Click "new post" to submit your first article.

Enter the title first.

Titles are extremely important.

Think about search keywords people use.

For example, a title teaching kids a hobby skipped "jewelry."

Cast a wide net for new readers, but start with business-specific words like "ornate gold wire jewelry."

Mix broad and narrow titles.

Experiment, then check views and favor what works best.
Next, cut and paste or type in your article.

Use the same keywords from your title in the article.

Link business-related keywords to your website once or twice.

Use the link tool above the article box.

Highlight text, click the chain link icon.

Enter your web address.

Best to open in a new window so readers stay on your blog.
Copy and paste the first paragraph into the "excerpt" box.

Now assign keywords and categories to your article.

Create categories like "special offers" or jewelry piece types.

Add tags related to your jewelry and business.

This helps search engines find you through keywords in title, article, and tags.
Now it is time to click the "publish" button and visit the page to view it.

The link to the "visit site" is at the top next to the URL that you selected for your blog name.
