Color Inspiration - Wooden Flowers

So many festivals, fairs, and outings - each season brings its own flavor. This past summer I attended an annual lavender festival on a lavender farm in Ohio. One of the vendors at the festival sold flowers that made me take a second look.
I asked myself, "What are they made of?" The answer was wood!

Meticulously cut, dyed, and assembled, these unique flower stalks were coming home with me.

I arranged the flowers using natural dried roses, evergreen branches, and the blue and yellow flowers handmade from lightweight wood.

That sounds like a beautiful and thoughtfully crafted pair of bracelets!

Using the blue coral fossil beads paired with the light wooden focal bead creates a lovely natural contrast.

The 18-gauge gunmetal wire must give a sleek, modern edge while still being strong enough to hold the beads securely.

I like the two styles you made one a classic slip-on bangle for ease and the other with a clasp for added convenience without losing the bangle's structure. Very clever!
