I recently moved to Grand Lake Oklahoma and love lake style living. It's casual with a daily dose of nature and I spend a lot of time on meditative walks by the lake with my pups. There's also a whole lotta' boating from kayaks and pontoons to speed boats - I enjoy them all.
I took this shot of pelicans on Bad Island (yup, that's the name) during a lake cruise. Their beauty was stunning.

Inspired by lake living, I had these custom charms made and couldn't resist using them in this piece!

Making your own chain is a wonderful skill to have in your toolkit. Changing the wire color or gauge creates an entirely different look.

This chain is quick and simple to make. Use a two-tone palette like I did, or try a dozen colors for a fun variety.

I added gold to make the other colors pop and enhance the resin focal.

This chain also looks great without a focal and is very lightweight, so you can easily layer multiple chains.
