Color Inspiration - Swirly Sunset

First of all I'd like to preface this article by saying I do NOT own Photoshop so this image was not altered! I know, hard to believe.

This color inspiration was used to create the jewelry-making pattern: Swirly Sunset Necklace
I have a condition I call "Sunset-itis" I can't stop taking sunset pictures, no matter where I am.

One favorite spot is Grand Lake, Oklahoma, where I often walk my pups along the lakeshore and see beautiful sunsets.

This evening was spectacular. After the sun set, the sky quickly turned stunning shades of pink, orange, and purple.

It lasted only seconds, and I feel so lucky to have captured it!

Picking out the wire colors to match the color pallet was delightful which is why I chose 5! You could use more or less but I think the end result is a great splash of colors I would not normally choose to incorporate into a piece of jewelry.

I made the resin focal piece to match the color pallet image after selecting the wire colors. I had to include a little sail boat charm. You could eliminate a focal all together and just create a chain. Think of the color possibilities created simply from wire!
