Color inspiration can come from anywhere. Even a deep blue sky and a few birds!
I was taking a walk along the Ohio River recently. As I heard the honking and watched the geese fill the sky, I thought about arriving and departing.

The effortless wings of birds in formation and the ritual of flight felt symbolic.

I took this photo because these geese were set a little apart from the rest of the flock. They center the frame, wings slightly different on each bird.

The expanse of sky captures the beautiful variants of blue.
