Color Inspiration - Santa Fe Moon

With spring approaching, I took a closer look at the artist's design and pulled inspiration from its rich colors. The palette included bright yellows, oranges, reds, greens, and turquoise.

I loved how the black outlines made each section of the moon design stand out, so I used 18-gauge black enameled craft wire to form the beaded wire links in my necklace.

For the pendant, I shaped a 14-gauge brass wire ring, then added a large yellow faceted resin bead along with a few smaller dangles to echo the vibrant colors of the beaded chains.
