Color Inspiration - Regency
A close-up photo of this Regency era chair gave me a rich color palette to work with. From the scrolled and polished mahogany wood arm, and parcel-gilt gold leaf decoration, it speaks to the times of the neoclassic movement, which placed emphasis on importance, and beauty. The Regency era (1811 - 1825 ) was known as a period of change in the worlds of fashion, and style. A period ruled by elegance, etiquette, and romance.
Corseted waists were cinched in just under the bosom.

Small clay colored beads, and red goldstone beads are caught in the middle of an everlasting figure eight. A romantic symbol of eternity.
I used 20-gauge round gold tone brass craft wire to create a single strand necklace 18 inches in length.
Held together with a simple gold clasp, it may be layered with other pieces.
