It's the middle of July and we're having a major heat wave across the country. Nothing helps me keep my cool better than creating a piece of jewelry inspired by a winter scene.
I am that obnoxious so-excited-winter-is-coming type of person you summer lovers roll your eyes at!

This beautiful wintry shot of Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, my old stomping grounds, inspired these earrings.

I chose white pearls to represent snow and crystals in a spectacular blue sky color for the background.

I love the contrast of the copper-colored beading wire and crimps.

The glittery, icy touch of the silver crimps pulls the look together for this simple yet elegant design.
