Winters in Colorado offer few choices at the market. We grow tired of slicing bananas over oatmeal each morning and snacking on oranges or apples later in the day. We long for the variety that summer brings.
This photo reminds me of the bowl of fruit on my counter all winter, always ready for my family to snack on. Though limited in variety, its juicy flesh provides the nutrients we need to fend off colds.
The color palette inspired me to create a simple strung necklace with stamped charms featuring favorite words and emblems a cross paired with "faith," "strength," and "dream."
I hope you find inspiration in the everyday things that surround you.
