Color Inspiration - Pomegranate and Citrus

Winters in Colorado, however, provide very few choices at the market. We grow tired of slicing bananas on top of our oatmeal each morning, and snacking on oranges or apples later in the day. We yearn for the variety that summer offers up.

This photo reminds me of the bowl of fruit on my counter all winter long, ready for my family to snack on. Though limited in variety, its juicy flesh provides the nutrients we need to ward off colds. The color palette inspired me to create a simple strung necklace with stamped charms denoting favorite words and emblems: a cross paired with the words "faith," "strength," and "dream." I hope you find inspiration in the things that surround you in your daily life.
