Color Inspiration - Playful Puppies
My daughter's best friend and her family work with a local dog rescue organization to provide foster care for new puppies until a permanent home can be found for them. Once a puppy has been placed in a home, a new one (or more) arrives at the friend's house within a matter of days. So, as you can imagine, my daughter pleads with me almost daily to visit her friend's house so she can play with the puppies. What great therapy for her after a ho-hum day at school!
Gazing at this image of playful puppies is almost as satisfying as playing with them in person almost, but not quite.
From the photo, I chose a color palette of greens, browns, and gray-blue.
Since the palette comes from such an outdoorsy image, I incorporated a mix of ceramic beads featuring natural motifs.
