A work in progress, this carousel horse was documented step by step until it reached its completion.
I like the way we can see the details, the carving, and soft pastel colors of this whimsical horse.

In this stage of building before the placement in the carousel ride, we get a steady look, a rare sight.

We often see people go swiftly around the ride, only catching a glimpse of the characters.

The sweet colors of the horse reminded me of my string of crocheted tube beads.

I created a wire cuff bracelet using 18-gauge round enameled craft wire, threading the tube beads together through the center.

To secure the design, I threaded 24-gauge round enameled craft wire through and around the middle section of the cuff.

This keeps it stable while allowing a bit of flexibility for wrist adjustment.
