I love living in a post card! I say this out loud dozens of times every week. Living in Colorado has been one of my greatest joys in life and I love using the natural beauty to inspire my jewelry designs. This is one of my recent delights after spending a day in gorgeous Estes Park, Colorado.
Every year, I take a few trips to Estes Park to see the aspen trees turn bright golden yellow and, if I'm lucky, to watch and hear the elk rut.

The deep moans and high-pitched whistles echo along the Front Range. It's a bit eerie the first time, but once fall begins, the elk's bugle signals mating season.

It's a spectacular sight these elk are as large as my car! You have to be careful because they get easily agitated. I've even seen one charge a golf cart with four golfers in it.

Worth the trip put Estes Park on your bucket list!

I loved the color pallet of this pic I took of Elvis the elk (yes, I named him that for his groovy moves).

This wire pendant is simple to make and you could mix and match many color pallets using the same design.

I mixed copper, silver and gunmetal for a more varied metal color pallet.

The focal looks great on chain but you could use leather or suede for a more organic look.
