This butterfly image is so stunning and unusual, I had to use the color pallet for jewelry inspiration. The blues are electric but the big surprise is the amethyst highlights. This is why Mother Nature is such a great design coach! She combines the most interesting color pallets I wouldn't normally use-such as this one.
Normally, I would use a complimentary colored wire for wire wrapping pearls but wanted to see how these contrasting colors work out.

Use 24 gauge wire so you can cut and bend numerous pieces at once saving tons of time.

I'm still a fan of convertible jewelry, and this simple design fits the bill perfectly.

Chains of pearls, gemstones, and beads are trendy but often expensive, so I created a more affordable alternative.

You can use commercial pearl chain or repurpose extra pearls to make your own version.
