I follow some really cool folks who frequent that delightful country, one in particular is author/water color artist, Susan Branch who visited Beatrix Potter's (author of childhood Peter Rabbit series) homestead. Read about it here: https://www.susanbranch.com/beatrix-potter-me/
Seeing the colorful flowers of the English countryside and this pic my Boston pal took while she was recently over there, inspired this necklace called British Blooms.
I wanted to experiment with layering 2 different wire-worked shapes and colors. This was a breeze using Wubbers round mandrel pliers. I love using Wubbers pliers as they ensure consistent loops every time! You could easily make different wire shapes, sizes and colors for this necklace. I used 18 gauge pink and purple wire, threw in a splash of Swarovski pearls, TierraCast spacers and a stunning lilac sea glass heart focal. I used eye pins for the pearl dangles and made a purple jump ring to attach the focal and swirl dangle to the necklace. This was a delightful project to make and I hope you're inspired to try it out yourself!
