Jeff Fulkerson Cabochon Ring with Heavy Set Bezel - Kit in Fine Silver & Sterling Silver

We will discuss picking a cabochon and what to look for. You will learn how to make a heavy chiseled and cut bezel and an overlay shank so your ring will stand out from the crowd. You will learn how to sweat solder, make a heavy bezel with notches/cuts to really set off your stone.

Skill Level: All Levels

Kit Includes:

• 1 ea. 1/2" x 6" - 22 gauge Sterling silver sheet
• 1 ea. 2" X 2" - 22 gauge Sterling silver sheet
• 1/8" x 6" - 20 gauge fine silversheet for bezel
• Each Student will need to supply a cabochon. (Instructor will have some cabs available for purchase at
  class time.)

Students should bring the following tools and supplies to class:

• Bench pin
• Jeweler's saw w/#2/0 blades,
• File(s)
• Bench block
• Rawhide mallet
• Optional: ring mandrel. (Just bring everything you've got, if you can.).

Instructor will supply the following tools for students to use in class:

• Soldering set-up
• Ring mandrels
• Ring finger gauge
• Shank gauge
