Instructions
Step 1

Overview

I used an assortment of clear crystal 10mm beads, set with brass spacers for my shortest strand on the stack.

I also used a copper accent pendant bead with a top hole to attach to a chain.
The mother-of-pearl side drilled pendant bead hangs on the largest chain.

Play with length, proportion, and color to achieve a balanced intentional look for your neck stack.
Step 2
We will begin by making the wrapped loop bail for the MOP pendant.

Thread the headpin, or a 3 inch piece of 22ga. wire, through the bead. Place one side of the wire slightly longer than the other side.

Step 3
Bend both ends of wire up along the sides of the bead.

Bend the longer end straight up the center of the bead. Bend the other end around the base of the straight wire and back through.

Step 4
Fold the straightened wire off to the right.

Step 5
Use the round nose pliers to form a loop at the base of the bead.

Step 6
Wrap both wire ends around the wire stem, using the flat nose pliers.

Step 7
Use the flat nose pliers to gently squeeze the ends of the wire close to the stem to lay flat. Cut off any remaining wire.

Step 8
Measure and create your beaded necklace. I used 14 inches of beading wire for the top stack. Thread one crimp onto one end of bead wire. Use the crimping pliers for forming a crimp.

Step 9
Thread the wire back through the crimp to form a loop. Leave a one half inch tail at the end of the wire.

Step 10
Use the crimp pliers to form a crimp. Thread the remaining wire back through another bead, or spacer to anchor the wire. Cut off remaining wire.

Step 11
Fashion your bead strand, leaving room at the end of the strand to thread the second crimp bead, and thread it back through the crimp to form a loop.

Step 12
Make adjustments as needed, then pull the wire close to the bead/spacer. Crimp the crimp bead. Cut off any remaining wire.

Step 13
The shortest bead strand measures 12 inches.
The rolo (smallest) chain measures 15 inches.
The next chain measures 19 inches.
The largest chain on the stack measures 20 inches.
Cut the chain to your desired length using the flush cutters.

Open 2 jump rings. Attach the jump rings to the pendant loops, and centers of each of the chains. Close the jump rings.

Step 14
Open 8 jump rings. Place the necklaces in order of small to large on the clasp. You may want to leave a little more chain, to adjust as needed.

Step 15
Attach each wire, and chain end to either side of the clasp. Close the jump rings. Cut off any remaining wire, or chain.
