Daily Wire Jewelry Making Tip

Question:

I bought a green Sapphire 18mm trillion cut.  How can I go about wrapping a stone this large to look nice?  I tried once and what a mess.

Answer:

Wow, that sounds like a gorgeous stone! If it were me, I’d make either a simple frame (using 24g square half-hard as the top/pull over wire so the stone isn’t covered too much, and 22g for the rest, wrapping along the sides with 20g 1/2 round and leaving the two triangular ends open, then use a knife and fold the top wire over the corners) or really celebrate this stone by making it into the ‘Orbit’ Prong Pendant setting in my book. Whatever you decide to do with it, I’m sure it will be lovely!

I am trying to do some jewelry making. I made crochet jewelry rose, but now am unable to to move about about by myself, since I can no longer walk.

I have made up to expert in crocheting. I have also done some some religilious poetry and had one of them printed, that was the best day of the day of my life.
