Annette Kinslow is a lifelong artist and teacher who believes in the power of art to change lives. Kinslow wants to challenge her patrons to look within themselves and become acquainted with their inner artist. Kinslow has worked in a variety of media beginning with sketching and painting then more lately with spinning, weaving and the fabric arts. However, when Kinslow moved aboard a 37-foot sailboat with her three sons, husband and Shar Pei dog, the looms and spinning wheel had to go.

Searching for a new art that would fit the dimensions of a boat, she hit upon the idea of wire wrapping sea glass into jewelry. She taught herself the technique and soon was selling her work. She began teaching the techniques and is now a twice published designer, a teacher of national note and a travelling artist selling her jewelry at art shows and markets. She has expanded her skills to make her own dichroic glass and do her own metal work.
