12" Guillotine Shear

The largest of Durston's guillotine cutters; this model is ideal for cutting both large and small pieces in sheet metal up to 306mm wide. The adjustable, built-in mitre gauge and ruler allow you to make precise straight and angled cuts. It can cut angles up to 60° in 5° increments. The stainless steel table supports the metal as it is fed into the cutting area, helping to ensure even and clean cuts every time.

The guillotine is operated with an adjustable hand bar that controls a precision-ground, hardened and tempered cutting blade. The extension handle adds approximately 15cm of additional length to the handle for when extra force is needed, which will greatly ease cutting. The blade has four cutting edges for a long service life. Simply turn the blade when it begins to lose its keen edge. The blades can be turned up to four times before they need to be sharpened. The blades will cut non-ferrous metals and mild steel.

The shear can be mounted to any surface. It is strong and durable with a rigid, cast-iron body and steel fittings.
